While staying in South Korea, my brother gave an I-pot touch to me, more precisely to his sister-in-law. Since working for a retailing company and onward, he has not only began to arm himself with a lot of electronic devices, but stored home with a large LCD TV and home theater system. My parents and I have been in his list of main beneficiaries, and he has recently added my wife to the list.

My wife liked and likes it very much. Most of all, I-pot touch and other Apple’s products, are gorgeous, and the interfaces are very human friendly.

However, my wife and I use the device no more than a half-hour a day. In spite of the various functions and funs with which it provides, she and I use only three: email check, weather, and bus schedule.

We do listen to music, but not while working. She keeps diary on paper notes, but does not digitalize it. I do enjoy web-surfing, in particular while working (this is my main problem), but not with mobile devices. Unlike some heavy email checkers or Face-book users, I prefer a few important emails, sluggish responses, and minimized two-way interactions (this is why I am blogging).

Anyway, we’ll find some ways to use the fancy device. Recently we added a Japanese learning app, and are using it as an excellent language learning device whiling staying in bathroom. Or sooner or later, it will have more. If you have any suggestion, oh~ I appreciate it.
